    PoppletA collaborative wall with multimedia options. Upper elementary and higher. Participants need email address and its a free sign-up.
    GoAnimate - Easy, free (can upgrade for more options) animator for class projects, lessons, etc.
    Fluxtime - Easy, quick, silent animator. No sign-in required, able to email link when finished.
    Blabberize - Use any picture and animate the mouth talking. Use your computer's microphone to record. Easily share link.
    Animoto - Create amazing online videos to share in minutes. Free but sign-in required.
    Timetoast - Create multimedia online timelines, easy to learn and use. Add links, pictures or text to the timeline. Free to sign up.
    Global Closet Calculator - Calculates impact of buying decisions based on objects from students' closets. Introduces concepts of interdependence and globalization.
    Padlet - A collaborative wall for all ages.
    Slimekids - Typing, spelling, grammar, and vocabulary games for kids along with book trailers to spark interest in books.

Multimedia Timeline Creation Sites:          
            Meograph - Easily create and share interactive stories with 4 dimensions.
            Dipity - Incorporate text, images, video to each timeline entry. Collaborate and share easily.
            Myhistro - Timeline builder and map creation tool in one. Events can be geolocated using Google Maps.
            Xtimeline - Collaborative multimedia timeline builder. Can include dates in A.D./B.C. format.
            Timeglider - Create, collaborate, and publish zooming and panning timeline maps. Can use A.D./B.C. format.
            ChronozoomTimelines created in ChronoZoom can include multiple layers so that you can see how events and eras overlap.
            TimelineJS - Using a Google Spreadsheet this easy to use app creates a multimedia timeline very easily. Click Get Link to Preview at end to get a link to share with your teacher.

            Easel.ly - Create posters online, can upload images and save as pdf after.
            Block Posters - Upload and image and print it out on several sheets of 8 1/2 x 11 paper to make a bigger poster.
            Mind42Nice collaborative mind mapping site with lots of templates and easy to use.
            MindMup - A easy to use site for creating brainstorms or mind maps.
            Popplet - App that allows students to think and learn visually by brainstorming and mind mapping.

Online Comic Strip Generators(20 Ways to Use Comics in your Classroom):
            Witty Comics - Simple platform with 2 character dialogue. Sign-up necessary to save comic.
            Artisan Cam - Students can build a six frame comic with drag and drop interface. They select a character and background for their comic. Can print or send to gallery when finished.
            Pixton - Drag and drop comic creation tool which allows anyone to create comics, regardless of art ability. Free but sign-in required. Teachers can sign up to create their own room for just their students to share comics, but this isn't free.
            Strip Generator - Black and white comic strip generator, with extensive menus for characters and objects.
            Make Beliefs - Provides a variety of templates, characters, and prompts. Allows users to write comic strips in different languages.
            Chogger - Use webcam to capture images, draw them, or use existing images. Great editing tools. 
               Be Funky - Online tool to change pictures to cartoonized images. Can create one frame image or entire strip of cartoonized images with text.

Computer Programming:
            Code Maven - Code Maven offers 59 lessons for students to work through at their own pace to learn programming fundamentals. 
            Tynker - Programming for students in a self-paced format. They create their own games, animated stories, and projects, and publish their apps for the web.
            Code Academy - Learn to code interactively online for free.
            Scratch - Free download for mac and pc. Create stories, games, and animations and share with others around the world.
